Obituary of William Mead
William Lloyd "Tiny" Mead, 67, of Kremmling passed away February 6, 2015 at Swedish Hospital in Englewood, with family by his side. William was born on June 17th, 1947, in Cody, WY, to Harry and Velta Mead. He was raised in Dalton, NE along with his two older brothers and three older sisters. In the 70's William made Grand County his permanent home and this is where he met the love of his life, Richeanne (Richardson) Mead. They were married on May 16th, 1981, in Granby, where they began their family. In 2002 William and Richy moved their family to Kremmling where he spent the rest of his days. Over the years William held several jobs as a truck driver, mechanic, and equipment operator, and retired from Snow Mountain Ranch, YMCA of the Rockies in 2008. He is survived by his wife Richy of Kremmling, Daughter Michelle (Paul) Romero of Kremmling, son William Mead and granddaughter Brooke Mead of Kremmling, Brother Vaughn Mead of Randall, WA, Sister Lorraine McCabe of Sidney, NE, and Sister Betty (Jerry) Knapp of McDonald, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brother Marvin Mead, Sister Judy McKelvey, brother in law Donald McKelvey, brother in law Jim McCabe and daughter in law Andrea Mead.
A Memorial Service will be held on Feb. 21, at 2PM in the Chapel of Snow Mountain Ranch, YMCA of the Rockies.Donations may be made to the Diabetes Association in his memory.
