Rhonda Jean Kiser was born March 8, 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio to Mildred and Vernon Kiser. She was called home to the great mountains of heaven on March 27, 2024 in Granby, Colorado. She was one of 4 siblings, Terry, David and Mark Kiser. She is survived by her father Vernon, brothers David and Mark, her daughter Reannon Payne, her 7 grand children Kassidy, Daniel, Riley, James, Virginia, Lillian and Kenneth the 3rd, as well as many cousins. She spent most of her adult years in Grand County in Colorado. The mountains were one of her greatest joys, her escape, her happy place. She had many, many animals through out her life, even from childhood, always bringing home a random animal to take care of, driving her mother crazy. To say she wasn't your average gal was an understatement! She was never good at conforming to what people wanted her to be. She spent much of her time working ranches, painting many signs for local businesses, and spending as much time in the woods as she could. She loved her solitude, but she also loved to spend time around a good camp fire with the many friends she has made through the years. She would always go out of her way to help anyone in need. She was a "I'll give the shirt off my back" type of woman. She also was a hell of a cook and shared her love of food with countless people. Painting and art were another one of her greatest passions in life. She had stopped for many years due to her hand hurting from arthritis. However, in the last year of her life she found inspiration to start drawing and painting again. She also had a great knack for computers. She started a YouTube channel that she would go and share her beautiful home with the world! Something that will be continued in her honor by her daughter and son in law, Kennth Payne Jr. She will be set free at some of her favorite Grand County locations with some of the ashes of her beloved fur babies. Her celebration of life will be held Monday April 8, 2023 at 3:00 pm at 50 Village Drive Winter Park, Colorado 80482. A later celebration in the summer is also being planned for warmer weather at one of her favorite camping spots. She had many, many people she loved and considered family and will be eternally missed. Fly high beautiful Colorado angel!!
