Rashelle Janay Raines

Rashelle Janay Raines, age 28, tragically passed away on May 23, 2022 due to illness.

She was born to Hermon (Butch) Raines and Karen Schade on April 11, 1994 in Denver, CO.  She grew up and graduated High School in Granby, CO.  She was blessed to grow up with a lot of close family and wonderful friends.

Rashelle loved all animals, especially cats, she was a music lover and an artist.  She was very shy and very sweet.  Spongebob and aliens will forever remind me of her.

She is survived by her mother, Karen Smolira, step father, Jaroslaw Smolira, a brother, Oliver, a sister, Amelia; as well as her Uncle Nick Schade of Hot Sulphur, an Uncle, Craig Hardman of Florida and close cousins Korianne Stanbaugh, Brinley Harlow, Matthew and Noah Hardman and great grandmother, Dorothy Curtis of Helper, UT.  Because she was taken from us at such a young age, there are many more.

Rashelle is preceded in death by her father, Butch Raines, Aunt Kristen Hardman, Grandparents, William and Margie Schade, Great Grandfather, Norman Curtis, and Grandmother, Doris Raines.

Memorial servcies are being planned and will be announced at a later date.
