Maxine Lickteig, 85, passed away peacefully at her son's home in Loveland, CO on February 6th, 2012. She was surrounded by her loving family. Maxine was born in Garnett KS, to Charles Elmer and Edna Pearl (Scott) Lineback. She lived in the Kremmling, CO area for the past 64 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert George, brother Howard, and daughter Linda Sue. She is survived by one brother, Jerry Lineback, and five children; Michael (Yolanda), Richard (Vicki), Sandy, Kathy Rigg (Jeff), and Ted (Sue); ten grandchildren and six great-grand children.


Maxine loved the outdoors, traveling, and reading. She was interested in many subjects, such as geology, meteorology, paleontology, and anthropology. She was a collector of beautiful glassware, antiques and especially her rocks for which she hiked in search of in the back country of Colorado and Utah. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She also leaves behind several dear friends, including the coffee group at the Moose Café.
