Lynne Marie Wagner

April 9, 1967 — October 27, 2022

Stephen Wagner and I are sad to share the news of the passing of our sister, Lynne Wagner on October 27, 2022.

Lynne was born in Flint, Michigan on April 9, 1967. She moved to Mackinaw City, Michigan in 1968 when our parents bought the Town House Motel. Lynne attended Mackinaw City School until she moved to Alma, Michigan in 1979. She graduated from Alma High School in 1985 and attended Baker College where she received an associate’s degree in travel and tourism. Lynne worked as a travel agent in Bradenton, Florida following her college graduation, then moved to St. Ignace, Michigan where she worked at Gros Cap School as a teacher's assistant, then for Mackinac State Historic Parks. In 2006  Lynne moved back to Florida and worked as a customer service manager for The Ellenton Outlet Mall and then as an Administrative Assistant at Colony Cove in Ellenton, Florida. In 2020 Lynne moved to Granby, Colorado where she enjoyed the care of her family as she battled Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). She faced this very awful disease with grace and courage. Even when she was totally bed bound she kept her sense of humor and made us laugh. We will miss her very much.

Lynne leaves a brother, Stephen and sister-in-law, Annette Wagner of San Antonio, Texas, sister Michelle Kennard of Granby, Colorado, Aunt Jeannine and Uncle Charles Verdier of Parrish, Florida, niece Jackie and her husband Kelly Gohl of Juneau, Alaska, nephew Michael Wagner of Nauganee, Michigan, niece Tamara and her husband Brian Veatch of Aurora, Colorado, great niece Beverly Veatch of Aurora, Colorado, great nephew Stephen Veatch of Aurora, Colorado, many loved cousins, and Lillie the cat, of Granby, Colorado. Lillie will be lovingly cared for by Beverly.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Lynne's name to Big Cat Rescue in Tampa Florida. Lynne loved the big cats!  https://bigcatrescue.org/donate/
