Kenneth Ray Kidd, 60, of Winter Park, Colorado, passed the morning of January 1st, 2019 in the comfort of his own home.
“Kenny” is survived by his daughter Katlynn of 31 years, son Andrew 29 years, grandmother Eva, father Dennis, brothers Keith and Kevin, sister Francis and many loving extended family members and predeceased by his mother Mildred. Kenny was a loving father, son, brother and friend.
Kenny grew up in Virginia and worked in telecommunications since his early twenties and advanced to be a top tier technical support engineer. He was forced to give up his career due to his health in 2013. He enjoyed teaching others and was recognized many times for his skill in resolving difficult issues. He loved to cook for his family, computers and cars. He passionately rebuilt many classic cars and attended car shows regularly when he was in good health.
A special thank you to the people at Northwest Health and Shirley Hale for their loving care and support during his final days. Also, the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards the many community members and friends of the family who have shown overwhelming love and support during this difficult time.
No memorial service will be held at this time. Remains shall be scattered at a later date this summer, please message Katlynn directly for details. Memorial donations may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness as he battled with depression and anxiety since his illness ensued.
