Janice Kay Reynolds

July 19, 1945 — July 21, 2018


Jan Reynolds, late of Pole Creek Valley in Tabernash, passed away at Applewood II Our  House in Golden, on July 21, from complications due to Alzheimer’s Disease.
Jan was born in Rock Island, IL on September 19, 1945 to Harold and Maxine Graham. 

She attended United Township High School, before moving to Chicago for nurse’s training at Grant Hospital. 


She met her husband, Lee, and they married on August 3, 1968 at St. Clement’s Church Chicago. Subsequently they lived in Westland, and then Ann Arbor, MI.


Jan was employed at the University of Michigan Hospital, where as an assistant head nurse, she was instrumental in developing the Peritoneal Dialysis Program in the Renal Unit.


Jan and Lee have three children: Brian of Andover, NH, Melissa, of Palmer Lake, CO, and Heather, of Lakewood, CO. Lee also now resides in Lakewood.


Jan was very proud of her eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.


Jan was active at St. Bernard of Montjoux Church in Fraser. She was preceded in death by her mother and  sister.


A Mass of the Resurrection will be said for Jan at Our Lady of Snow Church in Granby on July 31, at 11AM.
