James Robert Higginbotham

James Robert “Jim” Higginbotham Sr. of Granby, Colorado peacefully passed away May 4, 2018 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Denver. James was born in Denver on May 15, 1944 to Billie & Shirley Higginbotham of Denver, Colorado. Jim was a truck driver for many years, then worked as a heavy duty machinery mechanic retiring in 2006. After retiring, he moved to Granby to help his daughter and son in law get their business off to a great start. He is preceded in death by his parents and Uncle George Robert Higganbotham (Karen). James is survived by his brother Richard (Susan) Higginbotham, Daughter Angel DeCicco, Sons James Jr. and Aaron Higginbotham. Step sons Mark (Rhonda) Edwards and Bob Edwards. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren. James was an active Mason and Member of South Gate Lodge #138 and Chapter #104. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life service will be held at Winter Park Christian Church on Saturday May 19, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
