Douglas Alan Bair

August 28, 1959 — October 19, 2022

 On October 19th, my loving husband passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home in Grand Lake, CO.

Doug was born in Leavenworth, Kansas and had many interests & businesses thru the years, and he loved to talk and tell stories about them to everyone.  Being with Doug was always an adventure. Wherever we went and whatever we did, our escapades took us on a road that had no beginning or end.  There was nothing that Doug didn't enjoy, from experimenting with new ideas about what & how to cook - especially his giant pizza; to fly fishing, riding horses, camping and whatever else caught his interest.  He especially loved & missed his dog - "Shorty".  We loved traveling together and were never on a time schedule.  If there was something that interested us, we would stop and check it out.  He was a fountain of knowledge about many things and had many experiences during his life time. He continued to learn and loved to come up with new concepts for building new houses and remodeling old houses and making them look spectacular in his own special way.  He had an insight about creating new concepts that made everything he did special.
Life will never be the same, and as a friend once said;

"He had a light that shown bright and is a bit dimmer by his passing".

 Doug is survived by his wife - Cindy Meyer; children - Kelsey (Bair) Siegel, Ryan Brown,
Alyson (Aly Brown) Bair & 4 brothers along with other relatives & friends that he dearly loved.

      A Celebration of life will be held in Grand Lake at a later date with family and friends.
