Carol Durgin Windsor

Carol D Windsor, 80, of Grand Lake passed away after a prolonged illness on November 16, 2019 at Kremmling Memorial Hospital in Kremmling, Colorado with her husband Gary at her side along with dear friends and her miniature Australian shepherd Teddy. Carol was born April 27th, 1939 in Delaware to Forrest and Ethel Durgin. Carol worked for the Dupont company in Delaware as an Executive assistant until moving to Grand Lake, Colorado with her husband Gary in January 1976. Carol started working seasonally as a ski instructor at Winter Park resort eventually becoming manager of the resort’s children’s ski school center until retiring in 2001. Carol enjoyed skiing in winter and board sailing on Lake Granby and various places in the Caribbean. Carol and her husband enjoyed traveling to warmer climates primarily surrounded by a body of water. Carol will be missed immensely by her husband Gary and many friends as well as her family back in Delaware. A celebration of life will take place at a future date.
